Sunday afternoon's home game against the Lions will see the return of star defender Alexandra Morcom after recovering from a quad strain sustained during round seven's clash against North Melbourne. 

Also named in this week's team is midfielder Sophie Strong who made her AFLW debut in round four this year.

Defender Maddison Gay will miss the Lions match-up due to ongoing knee pain likely linked to her ACL strain, and midfielder Maggie MacLachlan will miss Sunday's Pride Round game due to a calf strain.
