The Essendon AFLW program is thrilled to announce that Georgia Nanscawen has extended her current contract, which will see her in the sash until the end of 2027. 

Already contracted until the end of 2026, the 2025 Best & Fairest recipient displays what it truly means to be a Bomber, both on and off the field. 

An integral part of Essendon’s midfield, Nanscawen was an inaugural AFLW Bomber, and has continued to show how hard work pays off, with a work ethic second to none. 

Optimistic for the year ahead, Nanscawen shares her unwavering commitment to the Club.
 
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be extending my time at the Bombers", Nanscawen said. 

“This Club means so much to me, and I can’t wait to keep building with my teammates and coaching staff.

“We’ve got great energy and belief, and I’m beyond excited for what is ahead. I’m motivated and ready to work harder than ever to help us reach our potential. 

“I can’t wait to keep giving my best for the Bomber faithful. We’ve got some really exciting times ahead.”
