Essendon has confirmed its VFL playing list for the upcoming 2026 season.

The group were presented with their guernseys in front of family and friends at the NEC Hangar on Thursday night, in anticipation of the Saturday practice match against North Melbourne as well as this Friday's season opener against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.

16 players have been retained from last season's squad, with a bunch of exciting new signings and a new crop of AFL-listed youngsters set to bolster their depth on matchdays this season.
