Experienced defender Jordan Ridley has made a full recovery from his calf injury and is set to return to play via the VFL match against North Melbourne at the NEC Hangar on Saturday afternoon.
Tom Edwards is also set to make his return via the VFL this weekend, making a full recovery from last year's ACL rupture.
Essendon will be without Mason Redman after the defender sustained a tear to his left meniscus during Sunday’s clash with Port Adelaide. Redman underwent surgery on Tuesday and is expected to miss around 6-8 weeks.
Dyson Sharp will be a test for this week after suffering an ankle injury in the final quarter of Sunday’s game against Port Adelaide.
Ruckman Vigo Visentini will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury in the VFL defeat to Geelong last Friday night.
The Bombers will name their side for the clash with the Roos on Thursday night.
