Essendon will welcome back Nick Bryan and Mason Redman among their six inclusions to take on GWS at Engie Stadium this Saturday.

Bryan's return marks a first senior game since his ACL tear in Gather Round last year, while Redman slots into the back six for his first appearance since tearing his meniscus in round two.

The Bombers have also called upon Zak Johnson and Archie Perkins off the back of a consistent few weeks' worth of performances in the VFL, with Darcy Parish also returning to the midfield mix after being managed last week.

After missing the Brisbane clash due to an MCL injury, Archie May has also been recalled to lead the forward charge alongside Nate Caddy and Peter Wright.

Saad El-Hawli (collarbone) and Jye Caldwell (ankle) will miss due to respective injuries.

Max Kondogiannis, Ben McKay, Jade Gresham and Tom Edwards have all been omitted from the side.

Essendon's omissions will all travel to Sydney to feature in the VFL fixture against the GIANTS at Tom Wills Oval on Sunday morning.
