Bombers esports has welcomed Jinwoo 'Wilder' Jung as the newest addition to its line-up.

The South Korean will be the starting jungler for the Bombers' League of Legends team, replacing Hyunjin 'Balkhan' Choi, who recently departed the organisation in a transfer to Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray.

Debuting in 2018, Wilder started his professional career in the Japanese Challenger Series for Burning Core.

After a dominant performance, he finished first and was successfully promoted into the top Japanese league (LJL), where he finished fourth in his maiden season.

Head of esports Nathan Mathews said he was thrilled to secure Wilder's services.

“Replacing someone of Balkhan's calibre was never going to be an easy task but we are confident in Wilder and the skillset he brings to the team," Mathews said.

"His ability to speak English at a higher level will also help overcome some previous limitations within the team."

Wilder is the first of the Bombers' three recruits, with the rest to be announced in the coming days.
