Sir Doug Nicholls round celebrates and recognises Indigenous players, past and present and their influence on the game today. Essendon will be wearing the 2026 Dreamtime Guernsey on Sunday at the ‘G, you can find more information on Essendon’s Dreamtime Guernsey here.  

KEY TIMINGS  

Essendon v Fremantle tickets are available on Tickets are available via Ticketek and on gameday outside Gates 1 and 3.  

All members without reserved seats can upgrade to a seat through Ticketek and use the ticket in their Ticketek account to get into the ground. Members can upgrade using this link.    

Essendon reserved seat members have two ways to access the game on Sunday.    

Members' physical membership cards have a barcode that will allow members to scan entry at the turnstiles, however if members are yet to receive their card, or prefer the convenience of using a mobile device, they can log in to the official Essendon app using their membership details to access the mobile membership.

If you’re not a member, it’s not too late to sign up for 2026. Simply signup/renew online and then login to the Essendon FC app to access your ticket. Further information on member benefits can be found here.

There will only be limited accessibility parking options at the ‘G on Sunday, so we recommend looking at alternative transportation methods. The stadium is only a short walk from both Jolimont and Richmond Stations.     

For Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit holders, they can pre-book their parking via Ticketek, or access limited drive-up parking. Please see the MCG’s suggested alternative parking options here.   

POTENTIAL DISRUPTIONS   

Cranbourne and Packenham Lines: Buses replace trains from the 17th of May until the 20th of May, from 8:30pm until last service each night.  

Sunbury Line: 17th of May until 20th of May, trains start and end at Footscray from 8pm until last service each night.  

Frankston Line: Buses replace trains from the 17th of May until the 20th of May from 8:30pm until last service each night.  

Stony Point Line: 30th of April until 20th of May, buses replace trains between Frankston and Stony Point. 

There will be something for everyone to enjoy in the Bomber Fan Zone, so we recommend getting to the game nice and early to make the most of everything on offer. Come and test your footy skills at the McDonalds Skill Zone, and check out the MOVA fan zone, with interactive games and where lots of prizes can be won! There will be free facepainting marquees set up and a DJ spinning some tracks. Keep an eye out on the roaming Paw Patrol mascots around the concourse. There will also be a petting zoo for everyone to enjoy! 

A special version of Dutton Dribble will be on at quarter time, where special guest Karter will attempt to make his dreams come true, by kicking a goal on the MCG!  

Ring will allow fans to guess the bomber in our Ring Doorbell Dons challenge. Make sure you’re in your seats for your chance to win! Palo Alto Networks will be scanning the MCG for the best lookalikes. 

The Airwallex Sprint & Spend challenge will be on at three quarter time. One lucky speedster will race against the Airwallex Sprint & Spend speedster to sprint to the Airwallex pay station, tap their Airwallex card, and sprint back. The winner gets a $500 Acceleration Grant for their business or professional development!
