Essendon's VFL side returns to Windy Hill as it hosts Carlton on Sunday afternoon.

The Bombers return to their spiritual home for a Round 11 showdown with the old rival, with both sides eager to bank an important four points as the Smithy's VFL season approaches the halfway mark.

First bounce is set for 2:05pm AEST on Sunday, June 7 at Windy Hill, with supporters encouraged to get down and support the red and black.

The match forms part of a VFL/VFLW double-header at Windy Hill, with Essendon's VFLW side also taking on Carlton earlier in the day starting at 11:05am.
