Essendon will make at least three changes to its side to take on North Melbourne this Sunday, with six inclusions in the extended squad.

Skipper Andy McGrath leads a charge of Dons that look to return from injury with Isaac Kako, Jye Caldwell and Darcy Parish alongside him. Tom Edwards and Saad El-Hawli round out the potential ins.

The Dons will lose Kyle Langford and Archie Roberts to respective injuries, while Elijah Tsatas has been omitted from the squad.

Caldwell's return is well-timed, with the midfielder set to suit up for his 100th game.

The action kicks off from Marvel Stadium at 3:15pm AEST on Sunday.
