Essendon has made four changes for this week's special Challenge game, with mid-season draftee Jaxon Artemis set to make his AFL debut on Sunday afternoon.

Kyle Langford will return after he sustained a quad injury in round 14, alongside Jordan Ridley who will also return after missing last week with soreness.

Huss El Achkar will make his return to the senior side after a steady run in the VFL. 

Darcy Parish, Archie Perkins, Harrison Jones and Lachlan Blakiston have been omitted from the side this week.

The Dons take on GWS from 4:40pm AEST at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.
