Adding to the resounding success of Essendon's annual Challenge Game on Sunday, the Club is proud to announce it has donated a further $10,000 to Challenge on behalf of its players via the AFLPA's AFL Players Care initiative.

As part of the official initiative, the Dons have opted to place the entirety of their allocated fund this year towards Challenge.

The donation continues to help Challenge push forward with integral funding for research to battle children's cancer - in the Bombers' 20-plus-year partnership with the organisation, over $1 million has been raised Australia-wide.

Sunday's win over GWS held another hearty reminder of the impact felt from the Bombers' commitment to Challenge.

The players' guernseys all had the initials of their respective Challenge mascots stitched onto them, with auctions for the player-issued and match-worn kits all live currently.
