Essendon have named its extended squad for Sunday's SCG clash against the Sydney Swans.

Defender Georgia Clarke will look to return after a knee injury sustained in a practice match during pre-season, as well as versatile midfielder Brooke Walker who has recovered from a ruptured ACL.

The final team will be announced on Friday at 5pm (AEST).
