Essendon skipper Dyson Heppell has cleaned up a maximum 10 AFLCA votes for his outstanding performance in the Bombers’ 41-point defeat of Carlton on Sunday.

In just his second game, Dylan Clarke was also recognised for his terrific effort quashing the impact of Carlton star Patrick Cripps – keeping him to just 11 disposals – while racking up 23 disposals, 10 tackles, six clearances and five inside 50s.
