Windy Hill Venue is inviting the Essendon faithful to celebrate the Bombers' return to footy, with a live screening of Thursday's JLT Community Series opener against Carlton.

The match - shown exclusively on Fox Footy - will begin at 6:40pm AEDT, with returning forward Joe Daniher set to be one of several stars who will line up in the red and black for the first time in 2019.

Food and drinks will be available in the Windy Hill bistro from 6pm, with entry free.
