Essendon Football Club is pleased to announce it has partnered with XCentral as its official IT services and consultancy partner for the next two seasons.

The new partnership will see XCentral provide IT consultancy and professional services across the club’s business.

The XCentral logo will be displayed prominently on the football department’s computers and on the match day laptops in the coaches’ box for all games throughout the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Essendon CEO Xavier Campbell officially welcomed XCentral to the club, identifying some real synergies between the two organisations.

“We are thrilled to welcome XCentral to the Essendon family of partners,” Campbell said.

“Essendon has always been an innovator in the AFL space, always looking at new, better and more exciting ways to do things, and so are XCentral.

“In this modern landscape, staying just ahead or finding that edge can make a huge difference, and we are confident XCentral will help us do that, both on and off the field.”

Director of XCentral Angus Mansfield is excited to be partnering with the Bombers.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for us to be more involved in the club’s operations and direction,” Mansfield said.

“Technology and how it is used can bring about innovation and continuous improvement. We are working with the Essendon team introducing new technology solutions, and ensuring they are utilising the full functionality of the technology to keep the club competitive and that the business is performing on and off the field.

“We are pleased to have Essendon as a client. Our clients recognise the role technology can add to business performance, yet realise that it is the people behind the technology that power performance – their ideas and smarts, their willingness to be courageous, to listen and to continually seek to improve. These are the clients we choose to work with."

As part of the new partnership, Xcentral will run an EOFY deal for Essendon business supporters where they can take advantage of the government’s instant asset write off.

There will be great prices on Surface Pros, laptops and books plus the chance to win a 'Travel like the Team' experience for two people to the Gold Coast in July.
