The Bombers will now be without Matthew Lloyd, Sam Lonergan and Paddy Ryder for their Friday night elimination final against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium.
Even if Essendon progressed all the way to the grand final, skipper Lloyd would be absent after accepting his four-week sanction.
Ryder and Lonergan could return for the second week of the finals if their teammates can overcome the Crows, with both accepting one-week penalties for striking Hawk Luke Hodge in separate incidents.
A host of other players players also accepted their penalties meaning the tribunal will not sit on Tuesday night.
Hawk Chance Bateman and Port Adelaide's Troy Chaplin will both miss the opening round of 2010 after accepting one-match suspensions for striking, while Kangaroo Drew Petrie will sit out the first two matches after he elected not to contest a two-match penalty, also for striking.
Jack Riewoldt of Richmond, Eagle Andrew Embley and Sahun Hampson from Carlton all accepted $1950 fines for making negligent contact with umpires. Melbourne's Nathan Jones was fined $2850 for the same offence. Port's Kane Cornes was fined $900 for abusing an umpire.
Freo's Matthew De Boer accepted a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record for striking Geelong's Mark Blake.
The melee in the Hawthorn v Essendon clash also led to 10 players, five from each club, being fined for their involvement.
