The Bendigo Bombers will slip further down the 2010 VFL ladder after losing to the Box Hill Hawks by 41 points today at Box Hill City Oval.

 

The Hawks dominated the match from the outset, entering half time with a five-goal lead.

Bendigo made a comeback in the third quarter with Paul Scanlon and Stuart Crameri kicking goals in quick succession but Box Hill dominated the remainder of the game to finish with a final score of 14.10 (94) to Bendigo’s 8.5 (53).

 

Essendon listed Jay Neagle was the only Bendigo player to score multiple goals, kicking two, while Bendigo’s Trent Shinners earned a best-on-ground performance.
