Now that the Grand Final has been played, and trade week and the draft are fast approaching, the question of where will Ben Cousins play in 2009 is starting to become of major interest.
 
Collingwood is being mentioned in most circles as his likely new home but it would be interesting to see if Bomber fans would like to see him at Essendon for the next few years.
 
So this week we ask if the club should go after the former Eagle?
 
 
In last week's poll we asked Essendon fans who would win the 2008 Norm Smith Medal and they were close to the money with 29.5% selecting Ablett, 21.7% choosing Hodge (who ended up winning the award) and 13.4% going with both Franklin and Bartel.

Joseph from Vic says: The Ablett story (Snr and Jnr), is one of the AFL's greatest. Both a cut above the rest. If Ablett Jnr plays near his best - he will be right up there when it comes to the best on ground.

The way they rorted the draft by tanking for several years in a row & thoroughly exploiting the system absolutely sickens me. With Geelong (and Hawthorn for that matter!) being blessed with no injuries for several seasons, it's hard to feel warm & fuzzy toward them - when, as a Bomber fan, I've watched so many of our champion players struck down with injuries in the past, not to mention 2001 when late season injuries utterly derailed us in the Grand Final. The likes of Franklin will prove themselves to me when they've had to overcome setbacks in their career.

Joe from wa says: pretty sure geelong will win, so ablett would have to be the obvious choice. i think Hodge would be the best bet if hawks were to win

James from berwick, vic says: My tip is Geelong to win the Grand Final., this being the case i think Garry Ablett Jnr. will win out of these options. But in all honesty, Selwood will win it if Geelong win. If the Hawks win, anyone of them could win it. If Buddy kicks 10, he'll win it. If Mitchell gets 10clearances and 35possies, h'll win it. And of course, Hodgey is their most valuable player. If he plays well, (which he always does), he'll win it...if i had to guess...Buddy is my pick!
