When the players heard of Dylan’s illness and urgency to raise money for treatment they made contact with the Hartung family and gave him a day to remember at Windy Hill.
""When we heard of his story we rang his family to see if we could help in any way as we are lucky enough to be in a position to help the little fella. By taking a couple of hours out of our time we can really change his life,"" Solomon said.
During his visit to the club Dylan had a chat with Kevin Sheedy in his office and a kick to kick with some of the players.
Andrew Welsh was impressed with Dylan’s enthusiasm, ""Hopefully by coming up today and meeting some of the boys has helped. He’s a Richmond supporter but I think we have may have converted him,"" Welsh said.
Dylan's Fun Day Out is a charity fete being held on Saturday 5th February at Skye Primary School from 10am until 4pm.
