On the back of his 25-touches and four goals against Carlton on Sunday, Angus Monfries is this week’s guest on Weekend Rewind.

The twenty-one year old describes the Bombers’ performance as outstanding and discusses his own good recent form.

“They (Carlton) came back in the last quarter and to fight back the way we did and kick the last couple of goals was fantastic,” he said.

Monfries said he relished having space and leading up on the MCG in possibly his best games for the club.

“It just sort of happened, the ball bounced my way and the boys’ kicks were good down the ground. I think it was just one of those days that you take when they come,” he said.

“The last month I have had a role in the forward line and that has really helped me.”
