Imagine sitting surrounded by every premiership cup Essendon has won, and think of the history and excitement behind each one of them. At the AGL Picnic at Windy Hill, all 16 Premiership Cups will be together and on display for the first time in the club’s history and to celebrate the new arrivals, Bomber supporters are invited to have their photo taken will them all.

This is a one off opportunity and will only be available on Sunday 13 March as part of the activities at the AGL Picnic at Windy Hill.

The cost of the photo is only $20 and will be a unique piece of Essendon memorabilia that money simply cannot buy.

Despite having won 16 Premierships since the beginning of the VFL competition, prior to 1959, the VFL did not present the Premiers a cup. By this stage the Bombers had already won ten flags: 1897, 1901, 1911, 1912, 1923, 1924, 1942, 1946, 1949 and 1950.

When the prospect arose to add the missing cups to the collection and create a full set in the trophy cabinet; Essendon simply could not give up the opportunity.

The cups will remain as a permanent fixture in the Hall of Fame, however this photo opportunity is unlikely to be repeated, so make sure you don’t miss out!

The Hall of Fame will be open on March 13 from 10am until 2:30pm with photos available between 11-2pm.
