Blake Caracella and Justin Blumfield, two of the stars of Essendon's finals campaign, have been added to the Australian team that will head to Ireland next month.
The Australian team will play a two-match series against the Irish which will be a composite of Australian and Gaelic Rules football.
Caracella and Blumfield replace teammate Dustin Fletcher who has decided not to tour and Brisbane's Michael Voss.
Chris Heffernan is also on standby for the tour and could yet join the Australian side. Matthew Lloyd, James Hird and Damien Hardwick are the other Essendon players already in the team.
The squad will go into a four-day camp at Colonial Stadium early next month to prepare for the tour. The Australians will again be coached by Dermott Brereton.
