The James Hird Tipping competition has just three rounds to go and Shaun Searle has opened up a handy lead. Shaun selected seven winners last weekend and is now two clear of Belinda Sydes and Michael Lucas who are on 111 winners. Six other tipsters are still within four of the lead. Last week proved to be a reasonably easy round for tipsters with 36 people managing to select eight winners. Just under 250 tipsters found seven winners with 519 finding six winners. Round 20 shapes as an important one in the context of the 2001 James Hird Tipping Competition.

The Crystal Ball competition in the Engine Room is proving as tough as everyone suspected. Seven people managed to correctly predict one of the five categories needed to win a day in the coach's box with Kevin Sheedy. aroch was the best of those who entered and will receive a $100 gift voucher to the on-line shop. The current Bomber Barons competition still has a couple of weeks to run and two entries - Lisabails and Charlie62 - have managed to chalk up the perfect score. Their respective times will be published next week.

Winners last week were Steven Ackers of Lalor who recieves a $50 gift voucher to the on-line Bomber Shop as the lucky voter in last week's Tag Heuer Player of the Week voting. Alec Dimitrovski of East Keilor was this week's winner in the Musashi Quiz and will receive a Musashi Gift Pack.
