RED HOT NIGHT OF ENTERTAINMENT
The Essendon Football Club is pleased to invite you to attend the Sealy Australia Black and Red Ball for an evening of lavish entertainment and sophistication with a touch of auction. Join host Michael Veitch and auction compare Michael Pope for one of the biggest nights on the Essendon Football Club event calendar. The evening will kick off with a live jazz musical performance followed later in the night by dance band Funky Film Express.

Join host Michael Veitch and auction compare Michael Pope for one of the biggest nights on the Essendon Football Club event calendar. The evening will kick off with a live jazz musical performance followed later in the night by dance band Funky Film Express. With over 300 silent auction items and a main auction segment of 20 major items - the Sealy Australia Black and Red Ball has a huge array of items on offer from sporting memorabilia to home products to holiday packages.
Essendon player, Joe Misiti, will be amongst those in attendance and a promises an exceptional evening. “Don’t miss this red hot night of entertainment, I look forward to seeing you there,” said Misiti, who will be joined on the night by other Essendon players including Justin Blumfield, Blake Caracella, Adam Ramanauskas.
This black tie function is being held on Saturday 1 June at Palladium, Crown Casino. Tickets are only $143 (GST inclusive) and includes a three-course meal and beverages. Bookings can be made through the Client Services department on (03) 9230 0390 or via the BomberLand website.

The common consensus at the end of last season was that the Bombers' run of injured mid-fielders played a significant part in the side falling at the final hurdle. Essendon did have a number of players who suffered serious leg injuries during the season. Joe Misiti, Mark Mercuri, Michael Long, Chris Heffernan, Justin Blumfield and Steven Alessio all underwent arthroscopes during the course of the season to rectify knee problems.
