Essendon will be in search of their eighth win of the season when they travel to SKODA Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday night to take on the Greater Western Sydney Giants. The match will see James Hird and Kevin Sheedy go head to head in the coaches box less than five years after the pair retired as player and coach at Essendon in 2007.

The match will be the first home game for the league’s newest franchise at their new ground SKODA Stadium as well as the first match between these two sides.
