Essendon Football Club in partnership with the Melbourne Airport made their presence felt at the EDFL interleague training night held at Oak Park during the week.

Bomber big man Scott Gumbleton was on hand to analyze the techniques of the junior footballers and offer opinions where he could. He even got involved in some of the drills much to the kids delight.

Gumbleton then spoke to the group about his first representative team in Western Australia, his personal pathway to the AFL as well as the importance of taking opportunities and working hard.

He also touched on staying mentally positive and his determination to stay fit and run out onto the MCG with his fellow teammates.

The enlightening talk was then concluded by a Q&A session, with the young footballers.

The night was deemed a great success, and the Essendon Football Club in partnership with the Melbourne Airport looks forward to continuing to support the EDFL and the interleague through new and exciting opportunities.
