Joseph Attard from Taylors Hill says: Marigliani simply because he has earned it, he deserves it, and I'd like to see him running around and dominating like he does at Bendigo already.
Bruce from Narre Warren says: It's pretty obvious who the fans want promoted. C'mon Essendon, promote Marcus!
Cesarello from Melbourne says: Quinn is already in the team. Does this mean he is elevated off the rookies list?
Jaden Frigo from Victoria says: Christian Bock has a talent and looks to be a good inclusion. Crameri, Margiliani and Silverlock would be good as well. Quinn already come up but hopefully Bock debuts this year.
Angeline Baron from Victoria says: Have we as supporters seen enough of our Rookies to make such a value judgment? I hope these young men are not discouraged by the results of this poll, as I don't think any of us are really in a position to judge their performances. Good luck to them all. Keep up the good work, Bombers.
Jose Bay from Albany Creek/QLD/Australia says: I can't believe all the hype/votes surrounding Marcus Marigliani. He's untested, compared to the mighty X-factor in Michael Quinn. If this is EFC's ode to trying to ostensibly (but ultimately hollow) attempt to be a multicultural/cosmopolitan club - it's falling on deaf ears here. Pick a player on merit & past history - ala Quinn. Michael suits the athletic, speedy running & rugby style possession game EFC have ferociously built up a reputation of having, plus quickly attained since Matthew Knights took over. I hate hype, as it ultimately falls smack on its face - ala Kevin Rudd's rise to PM & savage fall from the ranks. I'd take silky sophisticated skills (MQ) over masquerading muscles (MM) any day.
Anne from Victoria says: For me it's a no brainer. Whilst there has been talent and promise exhibited by all these men I think Marigliani has skill to burn and a mature body. He has certainly proven himself at VFL and state representative level. Vote 1: Marigliani
FRANK MARTINI from DANDENONG says: KNIGHTS OPEN YOUR EYES YOU NEED MARCUS MARIGLIANI ELEVATED HE IS A CHAMPION SO TELL US WHY YOU DONT ELEVATE MUSCLES ALL THE MEMBERS WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY. NOTHING AGAINST THE OTHER ROOKIES .JUST LOOK AT THE POLL. CHEERS
Julian from Prahran says: Margigliani - Jobe needs help in the middle.
MAD BOMBER from VIC says: MUST BE RIGGA OR AS SOME OF MY FRANKSTON MATES LIKED TO CALL HIM PIZZA
Glenn Sperling from VICTORIA says: Jobe Watson needs help in the centre and Marcus Marigliani fits the bill.He has played very well and consistently in the VFL all year and is probably leading Bendigo's B+F.Give the guy a go and lets see if he's up to it or not.Only one way to find out...promote him!
Chucky from Wyndham Vale says: We are crying out for big bodied inside midfielders. We recruited Marcus for this role so he'd be ideal to add to our mids...
Gary Walker from NSW says: Marigliani should be elevated to AFL footy urgently, not because he necessarily has been playing well or better than most, but he’s headed for 26 years and has not debuted yet. That alone makes it a priority to see what he’s capable of. I think it a bit unfair to leave someone at that age, untried languishing in Bendigo. If he has some speed, and looks like some handy ‘muscle’ thrown in perhaps what we need at the moment.
Ashley Kissick from Port Melbourne says: James Podsiadly has hopefully helped all teams to realise what many people have known for some time - consistent quality performance in the VFL will translate to the same in the AFL. Marigliani has worked hard for his current position and for that reason you know he is ready to take his chance.
Sarah B from Victoria says: Marcus Marigilani, simply because he's what we NEED. In the absence of Fletcher and Pears it was great to see Tyson Slattery and Michael Quinn get a go, but I really do think it's time Marigilani got his share of the action.
Liddy Heinnen from Noosa Qld says: Any of these guys should make way for Henry Slattery, Mick Quinn is a far better option than H Slattery.
James Brown from Berwick, Vic says: Marigliani has been in our best every week this year. he will win the best and fairest at Bendigo. However, we should have the option of Michael Barlow. We had the chance to take him. How could we pass on a bloke who is very likely going to win the Brownlow Medal?
Nick Morrey from Mount Waverley says: By all reports Marigliani has been in outstanding form down at Bendigo so it seems only fair that he come off the rookie list.
Mary B from Melbourne says: After watching the Adelaide game there is no way you could say Quinn should be put on the senior list. He was pathetic and beaten nearly every time. IMO Quinn is a good VFL player who will never make it at the highest level. I would pick Crameri over him every day of the week.
Brandon from Burnside says: Whats happened to the Bombers, sure injuries add to the woes, but seriously. Matthew Knights came, he tried. But now his gotta go.
James Gardner from Gippsland, Victoria says: Would love to see Stewart Crameri elavated and get a run out with the seniors... he's by far the strongest rookie playing at the moment and always stands out for me - super quick, strong and great footballing brain!
