The James Hird Academy is proud to announce that Nick Ryan, Oliver Tweeddale, Tom Fields and Jedd Clothier have been selected to represent their States in the upcoming 2011 NAB AFL U/18 and U/16 Championships.
Nick and Oliver will represent NSW/ACT and Tom will represent Queensland in the 2011 NAB AFL U/18 Championships that begin on Sunday 29th May.
Jedd will represent NSW/ACT in the 2011 NAB AFL U/16 Championships that begin on Saturday 25th June.Congratulations boys and good luck at the Champs!
A permanent move to defence has provided Essendon's Kyle Hardingham with greater certainty in his second year at AFL level, having begun his career as a high-flying forward. Hardingham kicked four goals on debut last season against North Melbourne in round 17, but his pace, leap, strength and smarts have been employed in a defensive role in 2011.
