Essendon Football Club is calling on all fans to support our sixth annual Call To Arms match when we take on Melbourne this Friday at the MCG.

The Bombers will wear a special guernsey, with a yellow band, in honour and respect for all men who have survived cancer, those currently facing the cancer fight and to remember mates who have lost their lives to cancer. Essendon will auction off these special guernsey's after Friday's match at Bomber Auctions online.

Supporters at the game can purchase a yellow Call To Arms mini football with all money going to Cancer Council Victoria’s life-saving research, prevention and support programs for men facing cancer.

Together with Cancer Council, we are also encouraging teams of all codes and levels to pick a game during their season to hold a Call To Arms match, wear something yellow and raise funds to fight cancer in men.

As Call to Arms' founding partner, we are proud of our continued involvement in the Cancer Council's campaign which started in 2006 when Essendon's Adam Ramanauskas was diagnosed with cancer. We hope you will help us raise vital funds for cancer - a disease that effects 1 in 2 men by age 85.
