Round 8 of the 2011 AFL season has provided another huge week of battle for our eager Dream Team coaches, with the tipping again proving to be both an unpredictable and difficult affair.
 
The ‘Destroyers’ have retained their top position, finishing on 16,684 points. Leading for the second week in a row, they are now significantly ahead of all other teams.

Our winner of Round 8 is Gary and his boys ‘The Duck’s Nuts’. They finished just eight points in front of ‘A Few Schmoo Men’ who are now trailing only dangerously close behind.

Footy Tipping Round 8 Winner
It was another thrilling round of football for Round 8 of the AFL season, with the reigning premiers suffering their first defeat. An agonizing 3 point victory saw the Geelong Cat’s overcome the seemingly unbreakable Collingwood. The Bombers overcame a sluggish start to claim a hard-fought victory against the Brisbane Lions up north.

This week’s Footy Tipping winner is Dale Hooper. For tipping the correct outcome of all eight games and the correct winning margin of the first match, he wins a Samsung Digital camera.

The Bendigo Bombers will face Port Melbourne at Windy Hill on Sunday 22 May at 2pm. Get down to Windy Hill and present your 2011 EFC membership for free entry and dine at the Windy Hill Social Club for a bistro lunch before the game. This will be your last chance to see the Bendigo Bombers in action at Windy Hill this year, as the remainder of home games will be played at Bendigo.
