The club’s board recently resolved to amend the criteria upon which life membership of the Essendon Football Club can be granted allowing all past premiership players who are not life members to receive the honour.

Every living premiership player is invited to the dinner to break bread with the current list of Essendon players in a chance to inspire the young Bombers to achieve their best.

Essendon Football Club has ruled Travis Colyer out of this weekend’s season opening game against North Melbourne due to injury. Colyer broke his thumb in a training mishap on Wednesday and is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks.
