Essendon chairman Neil McKissock made the following statement this morning. ""The Essendon Football Club board held their scheduled June board meeting last night. One item on the agenda was Kevin Sheedy's contract. The board had a very productive discussion and we hope the matter will be resolved by the middle of next week. No further comment on this matter will be made at this time.""
