Anyone wishing to attend the game that doesn’t already have a ticket is advised to purchase one soon with less than 6000 seats remaining in the public area and limited seats in AFL reserve.
Essendon members with general admission access to MCG games are advised to upgrade to a reserved seat to make sure you get in; your membership barcode can be used to access discounted prices.

The Essendon membership team will be at the ground outside gate 3 from 4.30pm until quarter time
The MCC advises those attending the match to allow plenty of time to arrive at the stadium and take public transport where possible.
All gates for Saturday night’s game will open at 4pm, with a curtain raiser to commence at 4.12pm.
If you choose not to reserve a seat for the game then we advise people to show up early to secure a seat in the general admission area on the top level Q29-Q40.
