Shaun Searle has opened up a handy lead with just two rounds to go in the James Hird Footy Tipping Competition. Searle selected six winners on the weekend to open up a lead of three on his nearest opposition Belinda Sydes, Michael Lucas and Mark Bozovic. The winner of the James Hird Tipping Competition will travel to Sydney or Adelaide with the team on one of their road trips next season. But the chasing pack will not have givewn up hope just yet with a number of difficult matches still remaining this season. In round 20, 11 people correctly tipped eight winners, 116 tipped seven winners and 3416 tipped six winners.
The round 20 winner of the Musashi Quiz was John O'Dowd of Bundoora. John will receive a Musashi hamper valued at $200.
Other weekly winners were Ron Hooper who receives a $100 gift voucher for the Bomberland on-line shop. Ron correctly predicted two categories in the Crystal Ball competition. It is a tough competition but the prize is enormous - a day in the coach's box with Kevin Sheedy.
The current Bomber Barons competition has two weeks to run and we now have three people with the perfect score. Charlie62 has completed the Bomber Baron quiz in the fastest time to date. He has set a mark of around 11 minutes.
