While Jason Johnson walked away with the W.S Crichton Medal hanging around his neck, a number of other Essendon players were also honored during last night's best and fairest presentation. Among the most popular of the awards presented last night was the Best Clubman Award presented to Essendon vice-captain Sean Wellman. Wellman has had a magnificent season and he earned All Australian selection for his outstanding on-field deeds. Another popular award was the Best Finals Player for 2001 which went to popular Essendon veteran Steven Alessio. The full list of award winners is attached.
