The two Harvey brothers will play against one another this evening when their teams go head to head at the MCG. Shane will play his fifth senior match for the Bombers tonight and already has shown signs of being dangerous in front of goal. On-field Shane has been likened to his premiership winning brother - a goal sneak, speedy around the ground and always hungry for the ball. In his first senior match for the Bombers against Fremantle in Round 6, Shane's first touch of the football resulted in a goal. Essendon recruitment manager Adrian Dodoro said the 18-year-old knows where the goals are. ""He has fantastic goal sense and that is something you can't always teach a player,"" Dodoro said.
""For a first year player he has done well to play a handful of senior games. He is a smart player and hopefully if he continues to improve he will stay in the senior line-up. Speaking to him earlier in the week he was excited and anxious to see if he was in the line-up to play against the Kangaroos - so he should have a good game,"" Dodoro said. There will be no love lost between the two Harvey brothers tonight at the MCG - hopefully for Bomber fans the younger of the Harvey pair comes out on top.
