With many young players performing well for the Bendigo Bombers in the last few weeks, there is a lot of debate about who should be brought into the Essendon line up.

In this week’s poll we pose the question: ‘which one of these player would you most like to see return to the Essendon line up?’

In last week’s poll we asked: ‘Who has been Essendon’s biggest improver?’ and voters thought Leroy Jetta had improved the most with 41.85%. Heath Hocking was next with 38.34% of votes, followed by Scott Gumbleton (12.30%), Cale Hooker (5.11%) and Jarrod Atkinson (1.28%).

Here’s what some of the fans had to say:

Mikey from Croydon says: Easily the MIP is Heath Hocking. Heath has been getting better each week. He needs to learn how to smile though. A special mention goes to Jarrod as well. Cheers. Mikey.

Joseph Attard from Taylors Hill says: Over the course of the year, I believe that Heath Hocking has taken his game to a whole new level. I love his intensity, his marking abilities and his awareness when he is in possession of the footy. A close second would have to be Leroy Jetta.

Johnny Utah from Malibu says: Johnny love’s Heath Hocking. He's a young mix of Dean Soloman and Damian Hardwick. And there's a lot to like about that...

Kerry Atkinson from Ulverstone Tasmania says: Leroy Jetta, since he came back into the side has been super impressive. His tackling and forward pressure has been awesome. Keep it up.

Joel from Moonee Ponds says: The current game requires smarts and legs to run through the zone from half back to set the kick up to a roaming forward. Gumbleton's developing nicely as our roaming forward but the kudos in my book goes to Dempsey & Hooker for their daring, skill and flair that create so much opportunity. To all the young Bombers though...well done and keep pushing!

Tony from Essendon says: Great to see Scott out on the park chasing everything.

Adrian from Mildura says: Heath Hocking just in front of Leroy because I like the way Heath is so hard at the ball and his kicking has improved tenfold but Leroy has been fantastic as well. I would really like to see him cement his spot on the forward flank

Jon Bailey from WA says: how could you possibly go past Paddy Ryder?

Trent Hobson from Australia says: Leroy Jetta's career seemed to be at a crossroads, but in the last month he has proved why we drafted him in the first place - speed, pressure and crumbing.

Nick from Mount Waverley says: Heater has been a brilliant part of the midfield over the last year. His job on a two time Brownlow Medallist in Adam Goodes typifies how good a player he has become.
Justin Millard from Quambatook says: From someone whose body wouldn't hold up to AFL and didn't seem to play more than two decent games in three years this has been an amazing season. Well done Gumby! I wasn't sure you'd ever make it!

David from Melbourne says: heath hocking, has proven now that he is near invaluable to the team & is performing week in week out.

Gary Walker from NSW says: A luxury to chose many as most improved, and that’s not considering our new comers, because they haven’t as yet a past year AFL performance to compare with, yet many have potential to be great players (Melks,Howl etc). As well, many established players have improved greatly over a few years (Ryder, Watson got fitter and has improved to elite level) but still have room to join future ‘AFL/Essendon Hall of Famers’ (Fletch) in the elite improvement stakes ;) Hocking most improved for mine, but many like Jetta getting there with consistency and footy ‘brain’. ;)

Simon from Ballarat says: Definitely Heath at this stage, see how Leroy goes for the rest of the year.

Leigh from Caroline Springs says: Jetta is mighty close, but has only had the 3/4 games to show for so far. Hocking has played most if not all 11 so far this season and is so consistent. He has gone from being a promising player last year to consolidating his spot in our best 22 every week - That is improvement! Hopefully Jetta can keep this form going, because he's looking great right now!

Ben from Adelaide says: Leroy Jetta, is playing not only good football but top shelf potentially elite football at the moment, I also think for a smoky, Jarrod Atkinson, he has brought some great running from half back, and he gives our defence another dynamic.

Colin Cairns from NSW says: Hocking has developed into a very strong running defender who is capable of kicking goals. His work last week on one of the league’s best players was courageous, strong and full of determination. He reminded me of an ex captain who was also a left footer with the same dogged determination and is now on the coaching staff.

Greg Sloan from Somerville VIC says: Leroy has really taken his game to the next level. Heath is getting better by the match. Gumby, Cale and Jarrod have all made considerable improvements to their games also. I think that all of these guys are doing very well.

Paulfrom Victoria says: What about Davey? He's been better than Atkinson.
