Essendon has named its final 22 for this weekend's match against Fremantle with Cory McGrath, Darren Walsh and Jordan Bannister the unlucky trio to miss out. All three would have offered the Essendon coaching panel some added pace against the slick Fremantle outfit but the Bombers have opted for experience. The Bombers' bench now comprises Andrew Welsh, Steven Alessio, Paul Barnard and Joel Reynolds. Whether they start there is another matter.
