""Obviously we have worked so hard this season to register our second win and I don’t think our position at the moment really reflects that, so it is a relief to the guys,"" Hille explained
The 37 point win is the big news coming out of the club, but the gesture from Hille to help injured Jamie Charman has also been a talking point to come from the match and it has surprised Hille to the amount of attention the incident has received.
""He came through hard and I tried to as well. He just landed awkwardly,"" Hille said.
""I could tell he was in a great deal of pain. I was a bit worried that he wasn’t going to get the assistance he needed quickly enough so I just struck up my hand to make sure that their trainers came out.""
With the renewed excitement around the club particularly buoyed by the win, Hille is confident the boys can carry it through the week and launch an assault on the Sydney Swans on Saturday night at the SCG.
""With the enthusiasm we showed after the game, it has made things very vibrant this week and I think it will follow on into training this week.
""We beat them earlier in the year and we have been playing a lot better in the last month and we line up well against them so it should be an interesting game.""
