Essendon Football Club today placed Alwyn Davey on the long-term injury list after he suffered a broken arm in the second quarter of last Friday night’s encounter with
Davey fractured his humerus after a collision with Damien Peverill and Kane Tenace and it has been assessed as an eight week injury. He therefore qualifies for the long-term injury list under the AFL Rules.
Davey will be available for the first round of the finals, should the Bombers make it.
His addition to the long-term injury list will allow Adam Ramanauskas to remain on the primary list and be available for senior selection for the remainder of the home and away season.
