Join former Essendon champion Michael Long and actor Kylie Belling as we celebrate the contribution of Indigenous Women in leadership at the fourth annual Long Walk Women’s luncheon at Peninsula at Central Pier on Friday 9 October.

Led by the women that walked with Michael Long to Canberra, the Long Walk Women’s luncheon recognises the role Indigenous women play in our communities while raising important funds for The Long Walk’s leadership programs.

The luncheon is sure to be a relaxed afternoon with entertainment from Indigenous performing artist Christine Ward, guest speakers including Leslie Turner-Long and Patricia Harrison, and an event auction featuring some great sporting memorabilia and products from Indigenous businesses.

Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards The Long Walk’s Indigenous Cultural exchange – a program aimed to strengthen existing cultural exchange partnerships by developing self-esteem through cultural practice and by supporting professional and economic development.
