Following an arduous pre-season campaign under second-year coach James Hird, the Bombers will be hoping to build on what was started last year and so too will the Kangaroos under Brad Scott - as the two sides are predicted to secure top-eight places on the ladder this year.
The last time the two sides North Melbourne proved too dominant, claiming a 21-point victory 17.9 (111) to 12.18 (90) in Round 13, 2011.
