A $2 million overhaul of the player and administration facilities at Windy Hill commenced this morning. The renovations are aimed at ensuring the club can more efficiently service its client base and give its players the best possible facilities in which to train and prepare. On the football side, the current players' gymnasium will be doubled in size and plunge pools will also be installed to assist players with recovery. An auditorium is also being built to accommodate team meetings and video presentations.

Essendon members and supporters will also have a fantastic new merchandise store to visit once the renovations are completed. It will be larger than the previous store, ensuring fans will have a wider range of product to choose from. Work on the administration and merchandise sections will begin immediately, with the player facilites to be built once this season has been completed.
