Only eight players in the history of the AFL have kicked more than 900 goals – Essendon’s Matthew Lloyd is one of them.

That makes the boots he achieved the milestone in a very rare commodity. The boots that Lloyd wore when he slotted his 900th goal when playing against Brisbane at the Gabba in Round Six are now up for auction online at The Big Bomber Auction.

Only one person will have the opportunity to own Lloyd’s history making boots (which will be available at season's end) and it could be you.

Why not treat someone special (or yourself) to a once in a life time present that holds a place in history!

The auction ends at 6pm on the 15th of June so make sure you get your bid in early for this amazing experience.

The Essendon Football Club is running The Big Bomber Auction an on-line event for the first time in 2009. The funds raised will be used to underpin the Essendon Football Club community programs.

Why not get in early with your Christmas shopping and snap up a bargain!
