It was the Panel’s view that contact was made to Cornes’ right shoulder and only negligible high contact was made. No further action was taken.
Contact between Port Adelaide’s Matt Thomas and North Melbourne’s Adam Simpson from the third quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. Thomas had his eyes on the ball and his arm extended towards the ball when contact was made. Contact was made to Simpson’s upper back region. No high contact was made and the action was not considered unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken.
Contact between Carlton’s Marc Murphy and Fremantle’s Byron Schammer from the fourth quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. The impact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence.
