Q. You were struggling a few weeks ago and now you are back playing your best footy for the season, so things are looking good for the finals...
A. We probably had four or five of our hardest games in the last five to six weeks. Geelong was in good form when we played them and so was Brisbane. The Brisbane game gave us a good indication of where we were. Then we went over to Adelaide and got beaten and then of course we played Collingwood and Fremantle, who are very good sides. We have been able to build up our strength and fitness in the later stages of the season because we have had a lot of players out with injury this season.
Q. What do you think of the Terry Wallace situation this week?
A. If he didn't have the passion anymore, the honest thing to do is to leave because in the end if you don't really love the club you are coaching, then you shouldn't be there.
Q. Why do you think he resigned now and not waited a few days?
A. If I was him, I probably would have coached this week and then gone and spoken to the President and the board and said I was struggling and told the truth. The worst thing would have been if he stayed another two years and take the money and go now where.
Q. What are you thoughts about Mark Harvey coaching the Bulldogs?
A. I think Mark Harvey will coach senior footy very, very soon. Whether it is the Western Bulldogs - I don' know. He will be capable of coaching at league level. He is a very smart person in his knowledge of football and the way he communicates to players.
