Australian band Bluejuice will perform at this Saturday night’s match between Essendon and Melbourne at the MCG.

The band will perform both during pre-game and at half time as part of the AFL and Radar Music’s Live at the Footy initiative.

On selected Saturday night in Melbourne during the 2012 season at either the MCG or Etihad an established or emerging Australian artist will perform.

Live at the Footy is a joint project between the AFL and Radar Music that aims to support and showcase Australian artists, and build on the natural link between Australia’s game and Australian music.

AFL General Manager Strategy and Marketing Andrew Catterall said: “We are proud to provide opportunities for these high calibre Australian acts to perform live on Saturday nights to huge AFL audiences, whilst adding another dimension to a night at the footy for our fans.""

To celebrate Live at the Footy, Bluejuice and Universal Music Australia are offering AFL fans their latest album ‘Company’ at the specially reduced price of $9.20 (normally $14.95) through Bigpond Music. To take advantage of this limited time offer, click here.
