“He played pretty well last year - we still don't know what the best of Dean Rioli is by the way. Hopefully he will find that out in his life. He has been training with a terrific attitude of really wanting to go somewhere this year. It was really only 18 months ago where he missed out on the Grand Final and it really shattered him at one stage. I think he really has a mind-set now that is focussed - which is pleasing.
SHEEDY- THE BEST IS TO COME FROM RIOLI
Dean Rioli will return to the VFL side this Sunday after completing his three-week suspension. At the time of Rioli’s suspension, Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy mounted the challenge for him to return fitter and better than ever - the 24-year-old has answered the challenge. “Since he was outed he has really gritted his teeth and shown everyone around here that he is serious about making sure he lifts his performance in the side. Before he was suspended he was building up to some good form but we haven’t seen the best of Dean Rioli yet this season,” Sheedy said.
