Not that the Essendon players knew it at the time, but the first day of the five-day Cann River training camp was in fact the easiest of them all. The team set off from Windy Hill at lunchtime on Sunday and their first stop was the Gippsland town of Traralgon. The players were divided into groups of eight and they were set the task of finding Silver member - Jim Murdoch. They were given a handful of cryptic clues and $10 and the rest was up to them.
