Champion full back Dustin Fletcher is a Bomber for life. Fletcher, who turns 29 next season, today signed a contract extension that ties him to the club until the end of the 2006 season. Fletcher, who played his 200th game for the club last season, debuted for the Bombers as a 17-year-old in 1993 and was a member of the Premiership side that season.

""Dustin was more than reasonable during the negotiation process but he has also been rewarded as he should be. He is a very valuable player for the club and we look forward to his contribution over the next three seasons,"" Essendon chief executive Peter Jackson said.
